Questions
What families ask us
What ages and weeks do you serve?
Camp is for ages 5 to 13, in eight weeks, one theme a week. Younger campers are in their own groups, and older campers choose from more in the blocks.
What is a day like?
Camp runs from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. A day has a morning circle, outdoor games and a block in the studio, lunch, quiet hour and a water hour. Early and late care is available by the week.
What do we bring?
A hat with a brim, a filled water bottle, sunscreen already on, a swimsuit under clothes and a towel, lunch in a cold pack and closed-toe shoes.
What happens in the heat?
Outdoor blocks are in the cooler morning, and each has shade close by. When the day is very hot, activities move into the gym and classrooms, and we text families about the change.
Can my camper swim?
Each age group has its own water hour at the pool, with a lifeguard on the deck and counselors in the water. Campers who need a life jacket wear one. Tell us at registration how your camper feels about water.
How does pickup work?
An adult on your list signs your camper out at the front door. We ask for ID until we know you, and we call you if someone new is coming.
How does tuition work?
It depends on the age group, the weeks and early or late care. The page on how tuition works goes through it, and the figures are on our registration page.
How do I hold a place?
Register for your weeks on our registration page. When a week is full, join the waitlist and we call when a place opens.
What about allergies and medicine?
Tell us at registration. We ask for what we need privately, and medicine stays with the director with your written instructions.
Can a friend join my camper's group?
Tell us when you register, and we place friends together when the group has room.
